ACD calls on its experience of almost 50 years, an indelible mark of guarantee at the core of its brand; experience starting in the ‘70s thanks to the passion of Franco, a tireless apprentice, now a Master craftsman with a passion, to be continued with the same enthusiasm by his son Stefano; a generation gap but one that continues a tradition typical of the territory in which they have always practised their craftsmanship. Competence, specialization and attention to the finest details and intricacies are the distinctive features characterizing their daily work, producing for a market segment which relies on quality as being the hallmark of its products.
Tuscany has always been a source of inspiration for artists of all kinds, probably thanks to the beauty and hospitality of the territory; this natural mindset is found everywhere, indeed, also in manufacturing. Not far from Pistoia, at Casalguidi, in the heart of this beautiful region, is the home of ACD, originally starting off as one of the many local workshops to now become a structured and well organized enterprise.
The strong link between the mind and manual skills, between creativity and manufacturing techniques typical of small businesses is enhanced here thanks to a vertical approach: the main specializations of the manufacturing process are contained within its structure. The territory guarantees the availability of the qualified resources required to meet special and extraordinary needs, with the awareness of the level of reliability and experience that derive from a tradition consolidated over the years.
ACD occupies an area of 1200 square meters as well as warehouses for the storage of finished products and all phases of the production process are dealt with within its structure, thus enabling the company to exercise an accurate and constant control over each individual stage. Although the primary activity is typically artisan and manual, the company has initiated a process of modernization on several fronts which embrace the sphere of production, organization, sales and marketing. The introduction of a new generation ERP management system, the structuring of a sales network flanked by traditional and web marketing activities and the achievement of an ISO certification to guarantee and protect the reliability and repetitiveness of internal processes, testify to the orientation and vision of a company aware of the times and changes imposed by the markets in which it operates.
